About The Event
The Art of Persuasion is a brain-based workshop designed to help teens and young adults understand how persuasion works in everyday life — from friendships and school to advertising and social media. Using simple neuroscience and real-world examples, we’ll break down why certain messages feel convincing, how the brain reacts to pressure, and where healthy influence crosses the line into manipulation.
Participants will learn:
Why your brain says “yes” even when you want to say “no”
The difference between persuasion, pressure, and exploitation
The science behind peer influence & impulse decisions
How to say no with confidence (without conflict)
